Vaccinations

Vaccinations are key to maintaining your pet's health. Beginning with your first puppy or kitten visit, your doctor will talk to you about the vaccines seh recommeds for you pet. The Doctor will base her recommenations on your pet's lifestyle, health and other risk factors.

In general, we recommend that all dogs be vaccinated against Rabies, Distemper, hepatitis, Parinfluenza and Parvo. At our hospital, this consists of two individual injections - (puppies require frequent boosters).

Cats should be vaccinated for rabies, other vaccines like FIP and leukemia are recommended based on your cat's individual risk factors.
